Portcentric
PD Logistics is at the forefront of the portcentric concept with the ability to offer
customers port located importation / distribution centres.
'Factory to shelf' time is reduced and logistics costs minimised by:
- Removing the need for inland container movements and restitution
- Elimination of demurrage bills and quay rent for containers
- Reduction of inland movement by direct deliveries
- The provision of cross-docking and warehousing
- The reduction of inventory across the supply chain
- Operations within a Custom bonded area
Portcentric Options
PD Logistics is able to offer portcentric solutions at a range of ports on the East
coast of England offering stevedoring, shunting, devanning, storage and onward distribution
